Govern and fund AI: one journey for boards and executive sponsors

Two questions for the same executive committee. Clarify the mandate, then test the use case’s value.

STEP 1 · BOARD AND CEO

Are we governed to decide?

The Board Kit tests eight decisions: ambition, investment, autonomy, sourcing, governance, workforce, foundations and risk.

STEP 2 · EXECUTIVE SPONSOR

Does this use case justify funding?

The Navigator examines one use case’s readiness and value assumptions, then proposes a 90-day execution path.

Assess the investment case →

About 3 minutes · report after contact capture

Each result points to the next decision

A governance score below 60/100 in the Navigator points to the Board Kit. A coherent Board Kit mandate leads to value calibration in the Navigator. Governance conditions remain open until resolved.

If financial inputs are not available yet, skip calibration: the readiness report remains available after contact capture, without a monetary estimate.

Two ApexTransform methods, one investment discussion

ApexTransform AI Mandate Map

A mandate-coherence method: three context signals adjust the interpretation of eight board positions. It identifies contradictions, conditions, owners, deferred decisions and gates. A clear mandate requires, among other conditions, no critical alert or deferred decision; it is not legal authorization.

ApexTransform AI Value Bridge

A scoping method connecting value potential with execution conditions. Four self-reported readiness answers feed ten correlated dimensions normalized out of 100. Their average forms the readiness score. Calibration adds business context, annual impact, value lever, volume, capture assumptions, data, risk and timing.

Annual potential applies internal coefficients for value mechanism, readiness, data, timing, risk, volume and capture to the declared impact. These are scoping assumptions, not coefficients validated by the cited organizations. The result is potential gross benefit before full costs, rather than financial ROI.

Confidence combines readiness (45%), data (25%), value evidence (20%) and a risk factor (10%). It describes response consistency, not a statistical probability.

FAQ

Which tool should I start with?

Start with the Board Kit when the mandate, accountability or autonomy limits are unclear. With an established mandate, start with the Navigator for a specific use case.

Is an email required upfront?

No. The Navigator requests a first name, professional email and consent before generating the personalized report. The Board Kit offers an optional review request.

Do the score or value estimate validate the investment?

No. These self-reported, indicative outputs do not establish compliance, certification or financial profitability.

Will AI assistants cite these methods?

Accessible definitions, sources and FAQs help systems understand the pages. Citations, indexing and placement in an AI assistant are not guaranteed.
